A walk in the gardens.....
In 1978, Cecile Chancel set out to create an 18th century garden which integrated both the ornamental and the practical, providing self-sufficiency in vegetables, and fruits in an attractive setting.
Using stones salvaged from a Roman pool, three terraces were carved out of the slope in an area protected from the Mistral wind.  The garden includes a traditional kitchen garden and an important collection of perennials, roses and Mediterranean species.
