Country village on the north-eastern outskirts of Marseille, at the foot of the Etoile massif, its 17th century church has some interesting architectural features, and some beautiful paintings, including one by Francois Puget
(son of Pierre Puget) and canvasses by Michel Serre.
Every Year, Chateau Gombert celebrates the feast day of Saint-Eloi, the patron saint of silversmiths,
blacksmiths, and farmers, on the 3rd weekend of June, and hosts the International Folklore Festival in July
