The Norfolk Coast (Hardcover)

Product Description
The Norfolk Coast is an incredibly varied part of the English Coastline. Along its length the various landscapes include dunes, cliffs, salt marshes, shingle, mudflats and golden sandy beaches. Throw in a smattering of seaside resorts and sleepy harbour villages, nature reserves and a coastal path, and you have an area suitable for many types of visitor from wildlife spotters to those who would rather let the day pass them by as they recline in a deckchair. Its ever-changing nature, caused by the actions of the sea or the weather, makes every visit unique. It is a place where you can ‘feel the weather’, a meeting point between the elements of the earth, water and air. Great Yarmouth-based landscape photographer Jon Gibbs presents a selection of his dramatic and evocative images of this remarkable stretch of coastline.
About the Author
Jon Gibbs was Take-a-View Landscape Photographer of the Year 2007 and Landscape Winner at the 2007 Skye Photography Festival. He is based in Norfolk, where he runs landscape photography workshops.

My cousin used to live in Norfolk..it's a nice place. Met some very friendly locals...I was staying in Maids Head Hotel , located accross the famous Norman Cathedral, making it the perfect place to stay if you're visiting the historic city of Norwich
