It's been a long time, 23 years to be precise, that aficionados have been waiting for the return of the circus world to Switzerland. In 1987, it was Lausanne, in 2010 it is Geneva. Youri messen-Jaschin's is already getting less and less sleep, as he is gets ready for the opening day.
Throughout the year there will be events all over the town, As Youri Messen-jaschin explains, We are working with almost 90 different institutions, theatres, cinemas, universities....
The programme of this exceptional event includes dance, opera, music, puppets, acrobats, jugglers story-tellers and more. There will even be lectures, film shows or exhibitions such as that telling the history of the circus in ancient times.
