Chardonnay - About Wines - 3
Chardonnay is a grape behind great wines such as Chabis and other white Burgundy.
The characteristics of the wines produced by this grape vary considerably, and many of their
aromas and flavours are due to oak aging rather then the grape variety.
These include butter, vanilla, spice and tropical fruits.
Goes best with poultry and cream- based sauces.
