A jewel of military architecture : a 15th century feudal fortress visited by Charles VII,
Louis XI and Henry IV. 17th and 18 centuries outbuildings and a chapel consecrated in 1827.
A Jewel of military architecture from the end of the Middle Ages, it was built according to a
highly original design. Very interesting Picardy furniture from the 15th, 16th and 17th
centuries. The Rambures name first appeared in 1058. Famous Rambures include David,
Lord Rambures from Shakespeare's Henry V and French Grand Master of Crossbowmen,
and Charles, the so-called "Brave Rambures" who saved the life of Henry IV in 1590.
PARK AND ROSE GARDEN
A romantic park, the green setting of the castle, planted with ancient trees from Europe,
America and Asia. Signposted with arrows. A rose garden inspiried by Middle Ages:
practice, labyrinth of smelts and colors.
