Situated 10 km from Rouen in the Seine Valley, this benedicitine abbey was built in the 12th
Century.
The Abbey Church built in the purest romanesque style and the Chapter House from the end
of the 12th century are of the highest architectual and aesthetic quality and are a perfect
reminder of the medieval centuries.
Today the monastic garden, now restored in the spirit of the 17th century, is a unique
example of an abbey garden with its vegetable patch, its orchard and flower beds.
