How to slow down ageing process

Fruit and vegetables contain active compounds that can help to slow down ageing process and protect you from disease - that is why we should all eat five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Boost your daily intake in the following ways:
1. Start the day with a breakfast- like a smoothie, a yoghurt or a cereal or simply brown bread
with butter and jam.
2. Snack on fruit instead of biscuits - have a piece mid-morning and again mid - afternoon like
Fruits like pear, apple kiwi, peach all kinds are good.
3. Have a salad with your sandwich at lunchtime, or a bowl of vegetable soup.
4. Add an extra portion of veg. to your evening meal, so you have two or three in addition to
potatoes.
5. For pudding , eat stewed apple or a fruit crumble.
