Aachen Computer - Museum

This Computer Museum originates from a collection held by Professor Ameling of the Technical University and is the oldest and the only one of its kind in Germany. The Computer Museum describes the development of computing and data-processing from the abacus to the personal computer and explains step-by-step history of data technology in layman's terms. The museum reveals mammoth-size computers dating back to the earliest days of data-processing as well as modern-day PC's or pre-war calculating machines. International Press Museum

The International Press Museum of Aachen known as the "registry office" of the world press, a world wide famous museum for newspapers and press history. The museum was founded in 1886. Meanwhile there are more than 170,000 issues, mainly first editions, jubilee editions, and final editions of the international press.
